Wikipedia の英語版が抗議のため 24時間 停止すると発表して現在 blackout 中です。
the Wikipedia community has chosen to blackout the English version of Wikipedia for 24 hours, in protest against proposed legislation in the United States
外国の海賊版を防ぐためのアメリカの法改正が提案されていますが、この法案が通るとインターネットの自由さやオープンさが脅かされる恐れがあるということで抗議のため 24時間だけ Blackout するということです。
"The blackout will last 24 hours -- from midnight to midnight EST (05:00 UTC Wed to 05:00 UTC Thu)."
ということですから、日本時間で 14時から 24時間は Blackout ということです。
普段英語版の Wikipedia をよく使う人は調べるものがあるとき困ります。
